We'll finish off these pictures with our wonderful pastors, Stacia and Seth Michael. They did a superb job of organizing this neighborhood BBQ....which was a rousing success. Over 100 folks we figured and everyone had loads of fun and ate until they were full. Plus, the sun was shining....whoa........
So that was my afternoon.....of course then there were dishes....glad we used paper!
We'll probably have another one of these later on in the summer. Hope you can make it.

Nice pics, Sharon. A community is a good thing.
College Park Covenant Church is starting their community barbecues next Wednesday. There will be a few throughout the summer.
I think we can compare it to our Fall Supper on November 11 that used to happen. Our aim is to "be" community...no charge. By the sounds of it, people felt welcomed with no expectations by anyone. Love can be pretty simple.
