Wet enough fer ya????...

If there is nothing else to talk about, we can always bring up the weather, right?

Seems like it's even rainier than last year but it still doesn't compare to '54!!!  Now THAT was rainy!!!  Not that I remember much of it that year but it was when my dad built our house down on 6th street.  There was this huge dirt hill from the basement being dug and I recall my mother threatening us about NOT climbing it....as it was at that time a "mud hill".  I didn't do it but I often think back how wonderful it would have been to just slide right down that hill on the seat of my pants...oh, the shear thrill of it all....but I didn't dare for fear of my dear mother's wrath!!!  Yes, '54 was a very wet year.

And as I sit and type, I hear the rain falling outside the window....just lovely....but the pictures below bring back memories of last year at Waskesiu....the clouds came rolling in and an electrical storm ensued...Jenn, Fi and I drove to pick up Brittney from Big Olaf's and it was raining so hard you couldn't see out the windshield....ahhhhhh....fun times......
