This is my room, where I work and the view I have.
Lovely, isn't it? Quite spectacular, actually. I consider myself very fortunate.
When I typed "A Room With a View", I remembered a novel by that title, by E.M. Forster....a book about the culture in Edwardian England and set in both Italy and England. A romantic novel and one that I have yet to read! Perhaps this summer.......
We had been talking about Tuscony, Italy at work today. A friend is thinking on going there for a holiday. After that conversation, I remembered the British movie, "Enchanted April". This is what Wikipedia says about the novel:
"Elizabeth von Arnim's The Enchanted April tells the story of four dissimilar women in post-war England who leave their damp and rainy environs to go on a holiday to a secluded coastal castle in Italy. Two women who belong to the same ladies' club but have never spoken, become acquainted after reading an ad for villas for rent in the local paper. They find two other ladies to help share expenses. The four women come together at the castle and find rejuvenation in the tranquil beauty of their surroundings, rediscovering hope and love."
It's a beautiful story and a great movie. It reveals to us that sometimes, we have a lot more than we realize......but it may take an adventure to Italy to realize it!!!:-)
Rent it, if you haven't seen it before! The movie.....not the castle.
So tonight, I wish you "a room with a view", to seek it out and enjoy it.
It may be much closer than you think!

That is pretty good view. Better than the old location. I should know, I did janitorial work in the old location for P.A. Janitorial Services.
Ya, the old view at McIntosh Mall was overlooking the roof of the Co-op Store!! I'd say I was a few notches up now on the "view scale".
I was talking about the old Forestry Centre location. The McIntosh Mall was I am sure not the best view.
Oh, I get you now. The Forest Service was never over at that other place...only the Forest Centre staff.
So many forest people....and only one building.
