The signs are all around us...

Mom, dad and all the kids are practicing the "V" stragety for their yearly flight south.

Seas of yellow are being swathed for harvest.

Forest undergrowth has taken the "color test" and thinks it looks better in browns and golds.

Shadows are leaping and lengthening with the deepening curvature of the sun.

Husband and I are beefing up and practicing the "feet up" mode.

Yep. The signs are everywhere....especially on our lawn where you see more yellow than green.
