When sadness comes...

There are people out there who are facing great sadness's.

Some have lost loved ones through death.

Others are trying hard to overcome sickness and it just doesn't seem to be happening.

Some are crying in the night because they can't face the day.

Even some have lost loved ones....but not to death.

Others are sad because of their supposed "failures" in life.

Some cannot even name the nature of their heavy hearts.

Sadness.

It can become all-encompassing, oppressive and over-bearing.

God has offered us joy in the midst of sadness. How is that even possible?

Because joy is so much more than being happy....it's a sense of peace and contentment.

So, when sadness comes, remember Psalm 30:5 which says:

"Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning."

Yes, it does.....
