Flying north....

our friends, that is.  They flew all the way from Fairmont, Minnesota....with their own plane...just to visit us.  How wonderful.  It was these two who hosted us in their home many years back now and who met us at the Orlando airport at 4 a.m. (our plane was delayed by several hours and rerouted) rolling out a red carpet, no less.  How do you repay that kind of hospitality????  I guess you don't.  You just accept it gracefully and hope that one day you can also let them know how special they are to you.  We will now attempt to do that during the next 24 very, very short hours.  They're on a tight schedule and have to follow their flight plan.

They said they never would have thought when they left P.A. in 1987 that some day they would be flying into the P.A. airport....themselves!!!  What a pair!!!

Their arrival.

Disembarking....

Dr. Rev. Dan and Rev. Dawn Fullerton.....not too sure how to say that...how about....our good friends!

We picked up right where we left off in 1997....while drinking tea in china mugs.

A few friends and family were around to share a meal with them in our home....pretty much all husband can handle at this point following surgery.  We laughed, and ate, and talked and told stories and reminisced.  We continue to count them as some of the very best friends we have had over our 42 years of marriage, not only because they were our pastors but because they were the ones that left deep impressions on our hearts.  They lived and continue to live out their faith in tangible ways...just good, solid, fun, intelligent folk.

Seems like we've been visiting quite a bit with former pastors over these past few weeks.  How fortunate we are to be able to do that.  Tomorrow we will tour P.A. a bit and share lunch together.  It will be grand!!!!!
