It was Ms. P's last day at work today...unfortunately for us. She and her family are off to the Queen City to take up residence. It will be a positive move and many more opportunities will be opened up for their family as the children are raised in a larger centre. I wish her well. I work with so many extremely intelligent and very personable people. She is one of those with a sense of humor like no other...her laughter can sometimes be heard above the din of a very boring meeting....and it just makes me smile! I will miss that...
She is a biologist and though her forte is not flora as such, she takes great pride in and has considerable knowledge about growing orchids...right there in her little office. The pictures above are some of the ones she has grown...others I have taken pictures of in various places throughout the city.
These are for you...Gigi....you will be missed greatly!
