I'm so incompetent when it comes to matching things. I'm attempting to put frames to some pictures and get a matting that looks like it should be there. I'm just not good at it. I suppose if I had a lot of money I'd simply go to the framing guy/gal and let them pick out the proper colors but as it is, I get my matting from the dollar store and frames either at Value Village or WalMart whichever is cheapest and best.
I think a class in this sort of thing is in order. Not only a matting class but a photography class. Retirement is only 399 working days from now....not too long to wait!
I ordered a whole whack of pictures at a local drug store and some didn't show up when I picked them up. Another frustration....and just when I'm wanting to get this particular bunch of pictures framed and ready to go for my friend too.
Tomorrow will be better.
We bought some of these today....just to get us in the mood. It doesn't take much, does it!
