I think our lives are like the seasons...always changing. Like these pictures (click on pics) we sometimes reflect the beauty of the fall colors. Come winter, there won't be any reflections. All is frozen and immovable. The winter of our lives is like that too. We become brittle, cold, unfeeling....pretty on the outside but unable to move on the inside with the coldness taking over. As we move from winter into spring and finally into summer again, our lives once more transition into something warm and reflective and productive.
Yes. That's it. Our lives are one big transition.
When our lives go through a season or winter of coldness ...the Son comes and melts it all away...
It is Christ who enables the transition to take place. If not for Him, we may well be stuck to the ice!
