Handy-dandy Mr. O......

I carry Mr. Olympus everywhere...just in case I come across some flowers with insects collecting pollen.:-)  So, while husband was in various places doing stewardship church business....I stayed behind and took pictures outside of various establishments.  It was quite fun.  Then at the co-op garden centre I saw one of these....so, had to take a picture for Dixie....

And some flowers didn't have insects...but were awfully pretty.....

So that was our morning.

The afternoon found me in the kitchen.  We're having company tomorrow....for one day....very special people whom we love dearly and whom we want to spoil a bit while they are here.  So I used Brittney's recipe and made these...

AND... this

I used whole wheat flour, a sugar substitute, half the salt and perhaps we will be able to eat one or two.

Matt is coming home on the weekend....I HAD planned on going back to work this Monday, but I may just put that off for a bit while he is here.

Tonight we're going out for coffee with friends....so ends July 14th.....it was a very good day.
