Dr. says no MRI yet. Knee is still too swollen. So I continue on elevating my leg with ice on the knee. Wrap it up in a tensor bandage and get the crutches swinging. It's a lot of weight to have to put on the other leg of course, so the other knee is beginning to feel it!
Oh my. Life is so interesting.
And it's so cold out. I did manage to get to the doctor in the crispness of a -35C morning and it was invigorating! Just being outside was so good, cold or not.
Here is how I'm progressing...
Still a great deal of bruising and swelling. A bit less purple in color but the knee is squishy. Doctor thinks there may be something going on under all that liquid on the knee. Time will tell. Amazing what a simple fall can do!
Now to take a prescribed Tylenol 3 and head to bed to attempt to sleep. Ever try and get your knee comfortable enough for sleeping?
'Nite all.....

That's crazy how purple it is and that it's still swollen. If there is liquid in it, then you might have to have it drained.
:(
Oh Sharon, we shall continue in prayer. Just wait, it will soon turn a lovely shade of green! Hope the meds relieve the pain.- S & S
