With my doctor's appointment this morning, he told me to NOT rule out surgery of one type or another.
Guess I got a bit ahead of myself with the other doctor's diagnosis (although he did say the MRI would tell the tale too).
We'll see.
Just watched a show on holistic remedies and medicines in South America and how the people are going back to the land for growing all their own food and back to their ancient ways of healing with indigenous plants and herbs. It was most interesting, mostly because it was a First Nations young girl who was also a medical doctor taking this journey to Chile, Brazil and various South American countries. I too, believe we will find cures of various diseases within the jungles and oceans of the earth. It just makes sense to me.
Husband bought a bag of Licorice Allsorts. He's a very bad man....:) But licorice has some natural ingredients also that are good for ones health...minus the candied outer coating of course.
Go figure. I'm a sucker for licorice...with or without the rings and squares of colored candy attached to it!
Tomorrow begins the hard work of physiotherapy and I shall need some comfort food....if it's licorice allsorts, so be it! They should go nicely with Tylenol 3's!!!

Our tour guide up to the forest canopy pointed out some of those plants. Want me to grab you some?
Of course I can't remember which ones were good for arthritis and pain and which just caused diarrhea.
Is there one there for knee swelling???...if so, bring a bushel back and I'll be up and running in no time!
They showed on that show I was watching how a hot air baloon takes the scientists up to the canopy top with a huge wheel-like contraption that sits atop the canopy and they gather species, etc. for research. Quite something! You went up to view from the top, did you? Incredible!
oops...that's BALLOON, of course!
