Don't forget to send your Valentine some love.
Roses are red...(sometimes)
Violets are blue....(and other colors)
I got purple posies...(and candy, of course)
Perhaps you did too??!!!We had to mail Valentine love treats to son but we managed to give Valentines to daughter and granddaughter in person. It is good that we are able to do this. We are blessed because our children love us and that husband and I love each other. Love does amazing things to our mind and spirit and soul. It allows us to conquer hate, it overcomes doubt, it encourages the depressed and it looks out for the weak. It lets us loved the unloved and unlovable. It heals our sorrows and helps us to look beyond ourselves...for the good of others.
Love is a many splendor thing.....
Love goes the extra mile....
All you need is love....
Love, love me do....
Have I told you lately that I love you....
I just called to say I love you....
.....but the greatest of these is love. ICor. 13
Love songs, love phrases, words of love from the Bible....tomorrow will bring all of these love expressions together into one LOVE-ly day.
So, if you believe you have no one who loves YOU....just go out of YOUR way...and love your neighbor, or co-worker or enemy... just like you'd want to be loved. It's the second best thing you can do.
The best thing you can do, of course, is to love God. (Mark 12:26-31)
HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!!

"Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres." (1 Corinthians 13:4-7)
In case you have forgotten,
Remember Valentine's Day,
Give cards, candy or flowers,
And celebrate it every day!
Happy Valentine’s Day!
Yes, love is certainly all of those things....and thanks for stopping by.
