We sat and talked and had a great time. We heard of their Hawaii adventures and how they managed through the tsunami that hit their island, how they had to be on stand-by in the middle of the night in case they were asked to move to higher ground, the blaring of the warning sirens and other fun adventures like surfing on boogie boards, etc. How exciting!! They looked a few shades darker, that's for sure. It made me happy to see them and chat for that brief but meaningful hour or so.
Not being at work for so long, I have missed chatting with folks. I guess I really am the type who likes to be with people most of the time. I thought I was an introvert, and I still think I am a little, but it revives my soul to be with people I care about and hear about their lives and what they're thinking and how they're feeling. Granted, I do have those times where being alone also refreshes my spirit. So, I must be a mixture of things...there must be a name for it! Shannon or Dixie will probably know.
Gordon, throwing darts!
Marian on right.
I think I could do with a few more of those coffee times. As I have said before, little things please me:)
