Yes, we managed to put up a tree without any major altercations....as in no near death experiences or situations that would call for ambulance/police/fire personnel.
I call that pretty miraculous.

It was a team effort too. Ken sat back and watched as Shannon and I did it up. She decorates a tree one way and I another way. She likes her tree "color-coordinated" and I like mine just "aux naturelle"........no-coordination. I have garland that is probably a dozen years old. She has no garland. None of my ornaments match and all of her ornaments match.
We're just different that way. I know her tree will be awfully beautiful....but our tree has memories, things to look at and remember where it came from and from whom.
Tree decorating can be an exhausting adventure with those we love.
